With a passion for creating beautiful smiles and promoting oral health, Dr Andrew Bass has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care. Graduating from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 2009 he promptly moved to Vancouver to begin his career, where he combines his genuine love for the profession with hundreds of hours of continued education to continually expand on his expertise and skillset to best care for his patients. Dr. Bass is committed to treating every patient with respect in a safe and welcoming environment and prides himself on a thorough and gentle approach to every procedure.
Dr. Gurek Nahal was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and is proud to serve the community he calls home. After receiving the BC Academic Achievement Scholarship as a top graduate, he began his undergraduate studies at UBC Vancouver before venturing to Australia to pursue his passion for dentistry.
While completing his dental education, he was recognized for clinical excellence and graduated with Distinction, earning a First Class Honours degree from the University of Queensland. He is also a recipient of the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence.
Dr. Gurek is committed to delivering quality care with a gentle, diligent and compassionate approach. He strives to stay at the forefront of dentistry through advanced courses, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest dental techniques and technology.
Dr. Gurek believes in giving back and volunteers with City Care Dental, providing care to those in need. Outside the clinic, he enjoys playing soccer, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Gurek also speaks Punjabi and Hindi.

I have been continuously involved in study clubs covering all aspects of dentistry throughout my career. In 2017 I graduated from FACE; the foundation for Advanced Continuing Education which provided dental learning that greatly enhances understanding of advanced restorative, TMD problems, implants and dentures to provide better care for my patients.
When not in the office, my husband and I enjoy cycling (in tandem!), golfing, hiking, skiing and spending time with our four children, and their families.
