Dr. Andrew Bass
With a passion for creating beautiful smiles and promoting oral health, Dr Andrew Bass has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care. Graduating from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 2009 he promptly moved to Vancouver to begin his career, where he combines his genuine love for the profession with hundreds of hours of continued education to continually expand on his expertise and skillset to best care for his patients. Dr. Bass is committed to treating every patient with respect in a safe and welcoming environment and prides himself on a thorough and gentle approach to every procedure.
Dr. Jordan McAdam
I can’t say that I always knew I wanted to be a dentist, but growing up in a family dedicated to healthcare deeply influenced my career path. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Victoria. Shadowing my family dentist, I discovered a passion for the blend of science, creativity, and artistry involved in fostering both oral and systemic health. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia. After finishing my studies, I returned to Victoria to practice full time and reconnect with family and friends. Eventually, I moved back to Vancouver, where I’m thrilled to be part of the vibrant community at South Oak Dental, working alongside a dedicated team of colleagues and engaging with wonderful patients.
Dr. Debra Mitchell
I have a passion for dentistry which I share with each patient through a caring and compassionate approach.
I have been continuously involved in study clubs covering all aspects of dentistry throughout my career. In 2017 I graduated from FACE; the foundation for Advanced Continuing Education which provided dental learning that greatly enhances understanding of advanced restorative, TMD problems, implants and dentures to provide better care for my patients.
When not in the office, my husband and I enjoy cycling (in tandem!), golfing, hiking, skiing and spending time with our four children, and their families.

Many patients have been asking us about the CDCP and we are pleased to let you know that WE WILL BE ACCEPTING the dental plan that the government is providing.
